Originally from Venezuela, Zulma started her career with IBM managing and nurturing long-term relationships with IBM enterprise accounts. Singled out for high-caliber leadership qualifications and promoted to work directly with General Manager; she outlined strategies and directed program implementation to optimize sales, marketing and portfolio offerings earning a reputation as an innovator and dynamic leader of organizations in high-growth mode. Zulma left IBM to pursue her master’s degree in business administrations at University of Cambridge.
After Cambridge, Zulma continued to build a set of cross-functional and global experiences in sales, marketing and operations with leaders in the High-Tech industry, where she focused on helping organizations uncover growth opportunities and designing next-generation operating models.
Zulma joined Comcast in 2016 to lead the Cloud Solutions team. She is currently stewarding the future state transformation for the organization, driving audience-centric messaging and value propositions, shifting to a solution selling approach, building sales operating rhythm, and redesigning sales and revenue generation processes to achieve market leadership.
As a leader, Zulma believes in cultivating a culture of trust, collaboration and customer success that provides employees with the tools, experiences and visibility to maximize their potential, be inspired, and make a difference. She thrives in environments where great ideas are connected to actions and success is measured by the ability to adapt fast and deliver on business outcomes. Zulma holds a bachelor’s in computer engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar.
