DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce the launch of our new fireside chat series\, Leadership in Focus. This series will spotlight industry leaders as they share insights into their career journeys\, key achievements\, challenges faced\, future ambitions\, and advice for others. \nOur first session will feature Julie Agnew\, Managing Director\, Fixed Wholesale & Customer Delivery at Virgin Media O2. \nJulie has a wealth of experience from across the telecommunications sector\, including leading major infrastructure programmes across the UK. She began her career at Kingston Communications before joining Telewest as Head of Contact Centres. Following its merger with NTL to form Virgin Media in 2007\, Julie spent over 20 years in a range of roles\, including as Executive Director of Construction & Delivery\, where she played a key role in expanding broadband reach through the flagship Project Lightning programme. \nIn 2021\, Julie became COO of Liberty Global Energy Ventures and subsequently CEO of Egg\, a Liberty Global Ventures company focused on delivering decarbonisation solutions such as electric vehicle charging\, solar power\, and battery storage.
