September 16 Luncheon Part of WICT Leadership Conference and Diversity Week
Washington, DC – Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today announced an artists panel featuring the co-creators and stars of IFC’s award-winning Baroness von Sketch Show, Meredith MacNeill and Jennifer Whalen, at the WICT Touchstones Luncheon, taking place on Monday, September 16, at the Marriott Marquis in New York. In addition, WICT announced that Global Board Member Georgia Juvelis, EVP & Co-Head, Corporate Communications, AMC Networks, will serve as the 2019 Touchstones Luncheon Honorary Chair.
The WICT Touchstones Luncheon is a key component of the WICT Leadership Conference held in conjunction with Diversity Week. AMC Networks returns for the eighth year as the Premier Sponsor of the luncheon.

About Meredith MacNeill
Meredith MacNeill can currently be seen as co-creator, writer, producer, and star of CBC’s award-winning hit sketch comedy series Baroness von Sketch Show. She has also been featured in many film and TV projects both in Canada and the UK, notably the satirical news program This Hour Has 22 Minutes, where she has been a writer and regular cast member. After graduating from a three-year acting program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London England, MacNeill began working with the Royal Shakespeare Company. About Jennifer Whalen
Jennifer Whalen is a writer, actor, improviser and producer. She can currently be seen on CBC/IFC’s Baroness von Sketch Show as a co-creator, executive producer, writer and star of the show. Additionally she is showrunning Season 4 and Season 5 of Baroness. She originated the role of the Aviatrix in the Tony Award Winning Musical Drowsy Chaperone. Jennifer has been nominated for three Geminis, four Canadian Comedy Awards and won both a WGC Award and a Canadian Comedy Award for her work on This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
