Washington, DC – Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today announced the members of its 2018 Global Board of Directors.
Marva Johnson, VP, State Government Affairs (South), Charter Communications, has been elected to the role of Board Chair. Martha Soehren, Chief Talent Development Officer & SVP of Comcast University & Comcast Cable, concludes her three-year term as Chair and transitions to Immediate Past Chair.
Leigh Woisard, SVP, Public Affairs of Cox Communications, rises to the board’s Executive Committee and there she will serve as Industry Relations Committee Chair. Lisa Rosenblum, Vice Chairman of Altice USA, joins the board as a new Director-At-Large. In addition, Alex Shannon, VP, Corporate Development at Turner, will serve a one-year term as the Emerging Leader Designee.
The WICT Global Board is a subset of WICT’s 10,000 members. Each board leader has deep industry experience as well as distinctive perspectives and backgrounds, representing the diverse and evolving functions and operations of the cable industry.
