WICT Announces Top Level Media Executives to Lead Betsy Magness Graduate Institute Roundtable Discussions;


Washington, DC -  Women in Cable Telecommunications today announced the industry leaders who will be hosting intimate, focused roundtable discussions at the 2015 Betsy Magness Graduate Institute (BMGI), to be held December 2-4 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The executive roundtables are returning to BMGI by popular demand, convening dynamic innovators from a cross-section of the industry. 

This year, speakers and participants will delve into Inspirational Leadership, exploring how to leverage inner power, passion and purpose to motivate teams and individuals. WICT’s content partners at the Center for Creative Leadership and Stone Lake Leadership will unveil ground-breaking research on the topic.

Anne Mahlum, founder of Back on My Feet and solidcore, will be this year’s keynote speaker. Yasmine Mustafa, founder and CEO of Roar for Good, will be featured in the closing, fireside chat. Kai Kight, an innovative violinist, composer and inspirational speaker will perform and deliver remarks at the kickoff reception on Wednesday night.

BMGI provides two days of focused instruction and discussion on key management challenges and opportunities facing today’s cable leaders, with content changing every year. The program was developed in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) exclusively for alumnae of WICT’s flagship leadership development program, the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI). There are currently over 800 BMLI alumnae eligible for this program, with nearly 150 attending.
