The Tech It Out Conference is designed to bring together thought-leaders in technology from both inside and outside the cable industry. Speakers shared​ their insights on leadership development with our target audience of women and people of color. In addition to a panel discussion, the Tech It Out Conference allows dedicated time for leadership training, as well as a guided group tour of select SCTE exhibits.

The program featured a panel of experts who explored the intersection between leadership and technology. Moderated by Marva Johnson, Corporate VP, Government & Industry Affairs at Bright House Networks, panelists included Maggie Bellville, VP, U.S. Communications, Media & Entertainment Industry, Hitachi Consulting Corp; Sandra K. Howe, SVP, Global Marketing, ARRIS; and 2015 Women in Technology Award honoree, Vibha Rustagi, President & CEO, itaas, Inc., a Cognizant company.

Mark Dzuban, President/CEO of SCTE concluded the Tech It Out Conference with closing remarks that addressed the need for more gender and ethnic diversity in cable technology.​

WICT's Tech It Out Initiative was launched in 2009 with a goal to create strong women leaders in technology, while also raising awareness about the vast opportunities for women in cable technology.
