Nakia Smith Collier is Senior Manager Finance, Business Services Operations for Comcast Business, Central Division. In her current role, Nakia collaborates cross-functionally with stakeholders, at multiple levels, to assist in driving process improvements and strategic initiatives. These initiatives are aimed at operational efficiencies to enhance the internal and external customer experience. Nakia also leads Central Division’s Commercial Revenue Assurance Team. This unit works closely with Headquarters and Subscriber teams on varies standard audits and ad-hoc projects to ensure billing and subscriber accuracy.
As a change agent, Nakia partners with senior leaders to drive company engagement, promote diversity and inclusion, encourage professional development and inspire employees to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Prior to joining Comcast in 2018, Nakia began her technological journey at AT&T Advertising Solutions holding multiple leadership roles in her 18-year tenure, from Care Manager, Sales Manager and Sales Support Manager. In her last 6 years with the company, her career focused around operational process improvement roles such as Circle of Care Manager for the state of Georgia and Senior Manager, Business Process Management and Training. These professional experiences developed the leader she is today.
Nakia began her studies at North Harris College in Houston, TX and after moving to Atlanta, continued her education at the American Institute of Banking. She is also a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.
Outside of work, Nakia is a mother of a beautiful 12-year-old daughter (Rylee), loves to travel and enjoys everything interior design.
