PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Created by The WICT Network and developed in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership, the Betsy Magness Graduate Institute (BMGI) is designed anew annually to build upon the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute curriculum providing graduates with the latest tools, techniques and disciplines to hone their business strategies.

As a BMGI participant, you can expect to experience all that you’ve come to appreciate about Betsy Magness programs – learning, inspiration, community and reconnection! You will not only learn about the latest trends in leadership and strategic thinking from innovative subject-matter experts, but there will be ample time for networking with your peers.

The program will open with a welcome reception at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15, and conclude by 12:30 pm on Friday, November 17.

Registration Fee:
$1,950/members
$2,265/non-members 

Registration fee covers program costs including materials and daytime meals. Travel, hotel and dinners are the responsibility of participants.

Wednesday, November 15 – Opening Reception (6:00 – 8:00 pm) 

Raise a glass to welcome the current BMLI Classes 48 & 49 and reconnect with Betsy alumnae.

 

Thursday, November 16 – Day 1 – Designing Your Future (8:30 am – 5:00 pm):   

Accomplished professionals continually cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, enabling them to be better decision makers and find the most innovative solutions. Vertical development plays a crucial role in advancing leadership strategies and equipping executives like you with the necessary skills to approach adversity and complex issues with a broader perspective.

Friday, November 17 – Day 2 – Legacy & Leadership (9:00 am – 12:30 pm) 

A Seat at the Table: Pathways to Board Leadership (9:00 – 10:15 am): 

Being a member of a board brings with it important responsibilities and challenges. This session showcases what being a member of a board entails and discusses the multiple paths to joining a board. Panel members include current and past board members as well as advisors, with an emphasis on understanding what it takes to secure those elusive board positions.

The Optimal Performance Workshop: Intelligent Energy Management 2.0 (10:30 am – 12:30 pm): 

Your well-being is the ultimate high-performance tool. This session will explore evidence-based tools and techniques rooted in decades of peer-reviewed research in the areas of neuroscience, psychology and physiology. Participants will learn how to achieve, and sustain, an optimal operational state (coherence), paving the way for significant improvements in mental clarity, decision-making, communication and overall performance.
