Diversity Week is composed of a series of conferences and events focused on advancing diversity business practices in these industries. More than a thousand executives gather annually to participate in activities during the week, showcasing their company’s commitment to diversity, participating in educational sessions, gathering to celebrate diversity champions, and setting a course for best practices.

After last year’s return to The Big Apple, industry diversity groups The WICT Network, NAMIC, and the Walter Kaitz Foundation are joining forces once again to host Diversity Week 2023. This year’s programs will amplify and celebrate industry achievements in workplace diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging – all under this year’s umbrella theme, “We All Belong,” underscoring the importance of normalizing inclusiveness in our workforce culture.

The WICT Network Leadership Conference is the premier annual gathering of The WICT Network members. This flagship event is held each year during the industry’s Diversity Week in New York. The WICT Network Leadership Conference is among the most sought-after executive development programs for media industry professionals, blending education and inspiration with ample time for B2B networking among hundreds of attendees spanning more than 75 companies.

The multi-day event provides corporate sponsors numerous strategic opportunities to reach a talented and diverse audience while enhancing their corporate profile as leaders in support of gender diversity and inclusion.

In conjunction with Diversity Week and The WICT Network Leadership Conference, The WICT Network will honor the year’s best and brightest for their embodiment of The WICT Network Touchstones, which serve as the origin for all of our initiatives. The WICT Network Touchstones Luncheon will recognize those leaders and organizations that are paving the way for the development of women in the media industry. Among the accolades to be presented will be the 2023 Woman to Watch and Woman of the Year. Don’t miss this chance for your company to reach leaders throughout the industry and at the same time celebrate the value women bring to The WICT Network and the industry at large.

If you are interested in sponsoring the Leadership Conference or Touchstones Luncheon, please reach out to Cindy Key.

The WICT Network is committed to supporting its members at every stage of their careers and is proud to offer four fellowships to attend the Leadership Conference.

The Cheryl Greene, Lucille Larkin, Laurel Lawson and June Travis Fellowships were created to provide opportunities for deserving candidates to experience all that The WICT Network’s Leadership Conference has to offer while alleviating the burden of registration costs.

Applications are now closed for 2023 Fellowships.
