Kelsey Edberg is Manager, Human Resources Business Partner at Altice USA supporting the News, Advertising, and Programming division. In her role, she partners with the division’s leaders to develop and lead talent strategies and initiatives that enable achievement of business outcomes and future growth. Throughout her Business Partner career with Altice, she has provided support to all of the company’s functional areas, including Corporate, Operations, Information Technology, Network Engineering, and Customer Care. Her career with Altice began in HR Operations where she focused on compliance administration for the full employee lifecycle.
Prior to joining Altice, Kelsey worked as a labor and employment paralegal at a boutique law firm, where her interest in the human resources field blossomed. She is a Stony Brook University graduate with an M.S. in Human Resource Management and an M.A. in TESOL.
Kelsey is a lifelong Long Island resident, where she lives with her husband, son, and rescue dog – Evan, Owen, and Steve. In her free time, she loves baking, cooking, and crafting.
Nina Grinnell is a Director of Product Management at Comcast Business based in Philadelphia where she is responsible for various Connectivity products as well as a multi-year, multi-million dollar national network upgrade program delivering improved latency, performance and reliability to the Comcast fiber optic footprint. Prior to Comcast, Nina lived and worked abroad for twenty years, primarily in Germany for Colt Technology Services where she held roles in Network Expansion, Offnet Operations and Sales Enablement. In addition to her professional career, Nina is a regular runner, curious chef and the mother of four teenagers.
Meghan Leger currently serves as a Manager of Platform Distribution Sales for The Walt Disney Company. Meghan is responsible for the distribution of Disney and ESPN’s portfolio of television channels and direct to consumer applications (ESPN, ABC, Disney+, Hulu). Meghan negotiates complex multiplatform partnership agreements with pay-tv operators and digital platforms while managing the day-to-day business with some of The Walt Disney Company’s largest distributors.
Prior to her current role, Meghan served as an associate account manager, supporting deal negotiations with various pay-tv distributors. Leger began her career with Disney and ESPN in 2017 as a coordinator for affiliate sales.
Meghan credits strong female leaders for inspiring her early in her career and is dedicated to paying it forward to future women in the media industry. Meghan has been involved with WICT New England and New York since 2017, and most recently completed the WICT Mentor Circle in 2023.
Meghan has a passion for giving back by volunteering through Disney’s various volunteer opportunities. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, golfing, and photography. Meghan is a proud graduate of Boston College where she received her bachelor’s degree in communications and theology.
Michelle Tapia is a Partner Marketing Manager on NBCUniversal’s Content Distribution team. In this role, Michelle serves as the day-to-day contact for Telemundo and Universo’s marketing teams, where she contributes to the execution of strategic marketing campaigns that drive partner goals and network ratings, including product stunts, experiential marketing events, talent appearances, and more. Additionally, she supports key tentpole initiatives such as The Paris Olympics and FIFA World Cup.
Michelle got her professional start in the entertainment industry through the NBCUniversal Page Program, where she gained invaluable experience and exposure to various parts of the company through various rotations across the company.
Michelle is a University of Florida graduate with a B.S. in Journalism and a minor in Theatre. Born in Venezuela and raised in Miami, Florida, Michelle not only feels passionately about Cuban sandwiches and sunny 72-degree weather but also the importance of advocating for Hispanic/Latino inclusion in media. In her free time, she is an avid reader with a particular affinity for ‘Romantasy’ novels and a lover of all things gaming.
Stacy Venanzi is currently a Senior Manager of Product Management for Spectrum Enterprise, part of Charter Communications. In her current role, she focuses on the lifecycle of Enterprise Voice products, including market requirements, go-to-market planning, and client journey improvements. Previously, Stacy drove the cross functional development of key initiatives to enhance the Enterprise Voice and Unified Communications product offerings. This included leading the discovery and documentation of requirements and ensuring alignment across development, operations, vendors, and internal partners.
Before joining Charter Communications, Stacy worked for Crossfire Consulting as a consultant and Senior IT Project Manager assisting both large Fortune 100 companies as well as several smaller companies. With Crossfire, she held roles at Verizon, Medco, and North American Power, where she led the Scrum transformation efforts, including coordinating large Agile multi-system projects.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and a Master of Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business.
She enjoys time volunteering, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. She currently resides in Connecticut with her husband, two daughters, and a rescued Lab mix.
Vice President, Public Policy, Liberty Global
Eke Vermeer is Vice President, Public Policy at Liberty Global. Responsible for EU Affairs and the Brussels office since 2019. Prior to this, she served for four years as Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Director, Regulation & Public Policy. She moved to Liberty Global from UPC (now VodafoneZiggo) where she served for eight years as Senior Manager, Public Affairs and Corporate Responsibility. Eke is founding member and Co-Chair of The WICT Network’s Europe Chapter. Eke holds a master’s degree from the University of Groningen in International Relations and completed part of her studies at Willamette University in Oregon, USA. She is a Dutch national based in Amsterdam.
