Julie Amadeo is Counsel at Optimum, where she provides strategic legal guidance across product development, marketing, and customer‑facing initiatives within the media and telecommunications space. She partners closely with business, product, and marketing leaders to enable innovation while navigating complex regulatory, intellectual property, and risk considerations.

Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from St. John’s University, graduating summa cum laude in 2012, followed by a Master of Arts in English in 2013. She received her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 2016.

Prior to joining Optimum, Julie spent eight years in private practice, where she specialized in general commercial litigation and trademark prosecution. In that role, she advised clients on brand protection and complex commercial disputes across a range of industries. She brings this litigation‑trained perspective in‑house, with a focus on practical, business‑forward legal solutions that support growth and operational excellence.

As a member of The WICT Network’s Future Leader Board, Julie is passionate about advancing thoughtful leadership, fostering cross‑functional collaboration, and supporting the next generation of women leaders in media, entertainment, and technology.

Ama Misa is a Senior Manager on The Walt Disney Company’s Platform Distribution Sales team, where she manages and negotiates distribution deals for Disney’s streaming apps and television networks across major media distributors and connected devices.

She also serves on the Platform Distribution Inclusion Champions leadership team, advancing hiring, retention, and workplace culture initiatives across the Platform Distribution organization.

Prior to joining Disney in 2021, Ama held business development roles at Intuit, Flex, and Sapphire, a Ghana‑based media company operating across television, film, and live productions. Ama holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Organizations and Entrepreneurship from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Brenda Tinnemeyer is a Program Manager on the System Operations team at Charter Communications, with seven years of experience in the telecom industry. Her background spans four years in wireless construction and three years in the cable industry, giving her a broad view of the business and a strong appreciation for cross-functional collaboration.

Born in Singapore and from Indonesia and the United States, Brenda spent most of her life in Southeast Asia before moving to the U.S. for college. She holds a double major in Management and International Relations, an educational foundation that has deepened her appreciation for diverse perspectives, inclusive leadership, and global collaboration. Brenda genuinely enjoys getting to know people, learning from their experiences, and building connections that help teams grow together.

Since joining Charter, Brenda has been actively involved with The WICT Network. She served on the Membership South Committee for three years and is currently beginning a new role as Programming Chair for the WICT Midwest Board. Grateful for the mentors, peers, and opportunities she has found through The WICT Network, Brenda is honored to be selected for the Future Leader Board and looks forward to continuing to learn, contribute, and support The WICT Network’s mission to create women leaders who transform the media, entertainment, and technology industries.

Beth is a Sales Manager on NBCUniversal’s Platform Distribution & Partnerships team, where she focuses on the distribution and monetization of the company’s linear and streaming services across pay TV providers. She has been with NBCU for four years, bringing a strong foundation in contract negotiation from her previous role as a Capital Markets Paralegal. Beth is excited to connect with fellow WICT members who are at a similar stage in their careers and looks forward to building meaningful relationships through mentorship.
