Beatrice received a degree in History and History of ideas from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Beatrice is an advocate for the promotion of women in leadership in the technology and media industries. Dyslexic herself, Beatrice is a Patron of several charities involved with education and learning which are dedicated to preparing young people to flourish in the digital age – regardless of background and educational ability. Beatrice passionately believes that no child should be left behind.
Beatrice is a trustee and founder of The Big Change Charitable Trust, which identifies and supports charitable projects throughout the UK that improve the lives of young people. She is an ambassador for ‘Be Cool Be Nice’ The campaign is raising awareness around cyber bullying and works to promote mindfulness for young people. In 2019, Beatrice also recently became a Trustee of the Outward Bound Trust as she is an advocate that learning should not be confined to the classroom and life skills are often best taught in an outdoor environment.
