Monica Williams

Monica Williams is Vice President of Business Operations, Technology & Strategy in Content Distribution Digital Products for NBCUniversal. In this role, she oversees business operations, product development, customer experience, technology and program management for the group, which is responsible for making all NBCU networks’ content available on all digital platforms driving consumption & monetization.


Previously, as Director of Technical Accounts for Operations and Technical Services for NBCU, she was instrumental in building digital fulfillment strategies to ensure business priorities are met and measured. Monica first joined NBCUniversal as a Six Sigma Black Belt for Studio Operations in 2005.  She began her career with GE in the Operations Management Leadership Program.


Active in the community, Monica is a founding member of Asian Pacific Americans @ NBCUniversal, one of the seven employee resource groups within NBCU. A regular guest speaker on leadership, women in technology, and diversity, Monica now serves as the NBCU lead for Women in Cable Telecommunications Southern California Chapter, and Comcast NBCUniversal TechWomen Los Angeles Chapter Co-Chair.


Monica has received several industry awards, including Cablefax Magazine’s "Most Powerful Women in Cable – Top in Technology" and "Most Influential Minorities in Cable" (2017 & 2016), plus "Women in Tech – Woman of the Year" by Multichannel News in 2015.


A graduate of Harvard Business School’s Cable Executive Management Program, she holds an MBA from Claremont Graduate University, and a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Industrial Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Monica and her husband, Jeffrey, reside in Los Angeles with their three sons, Kingsley, Anderson, Lexington, and their beloved dog, Maximillian and cat, Sebastian.
