The WICT Network Proudly Announces the PAR Top Companies for Women to Work
Honorees to be Awarded at the 2025 Touchstones Luncheon
New York Marriott Marquis on Monday, October 20
In Conjunction with The WICT Network Leadership Conference, October 19-21
Washington, DC – The WICT Network is proud to announce its honorees for the PAR Top Companies for Women to Work, to be awarded at the 2025 Touchstones Luncheon, taking place in New York at The Marriott Marquis, Monday, October 20 during The WICT Network Leadership Conference. The Conference and Touchstones Luncheon kick off the industry’s Leadership Development Week.
The Touchstones Luncheon is a cornerstone event celebrating progress and leadership in the workplace. Each year, this premier gathering features influential voices in media, entertainment and technology to highlight the critical role that workforce demographics play in building stronger teams that drive meaningful success.
The PAR Survey is conducted in partnership with NAMIC’s AIM Survey, and is underwritten by the NCTA Education Foundation, administered by PWC.
“For over 20 years, the PAR Survey has served as a vital benchmark for tracking gender diversity across our industry,” said Maria E. Brennan, CAE, President & CEO of The WICT Network. “This year’s PAR honorees demonstrate an enduring commitment to advancing workplace equality because the data makes clear that diverse teams help drive measurable success. We applaud all participants for setting a high standard to open doors wider, not tighter.”
The WICT Network historically recognizes the top distribution and content companies, and for the first time, The WICT Network will also recognize the top company in technology for women to work. This year that honor goes to CSG Systems International.
The 2025 PAR Top Companies in distribution and content are (in alpha order by company):
Distribution Companies:
- Cable One
- Charter Communications
- Comcast
- Cox Communications
- Midco
Content Providers:
- AMC Networks, Inc.
- NBCUniversal
- REVOLT Media & TV
- TV One, LLC
- Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc.
WHY DO WE MEASURE WORKFORCE DEMOGRAPHICS?
We measure because all the research tells us that varying workforce demographics make for better, stronger, faster companies. Since 2003, the PAR Initiative has measured the status of women employees in the industry based on three main criteria: Pay equity, Advancement opportunities and Resources for work/life integration. A comprehensive advocacy program helping companies to set goals, institutionalize policies, measure progress and achieve results, the PAR Initiative showcases best practices in achieving stronger gender diversity. Because research shows that women earn more advanced degrees, influence more household purchasing decisions, and drive faster innovation among teams, measuring workforce demographics makes sense. The PAR Survey is administered in partnership with the NAMIC AIM Survey.
