Some key contributions that she has brought to each role include her focus on best-in-class operations, process improvement and employee engagement. She also currently serves on the board of the SCTE: Penn-Ohio Chapter. Shortly after graduating from WICT Midwest’s Premier Management Development Series, she was asked to facilitate one of Charter’s Women in IT groups and for the next two years led the St. Louis chapter. In this position, Kate’s responsibilities included hosting quarterly on-site events to support women on leadership paths through knowledge-sharing seminars, VP roundtables, and networking events. In the fall of 2022, Kate was elected as WICT Midwest Chapter’s Director of Board Operations for 2023–2024. In 2024, she was nominated for both the Spirit of Midwest and Women in Technology awards through the WICT Midwest Chapter, ultimately being honored with the Women in Technology award. As the newly elected Chapter President, Kate will continue her efforts to help advance women’s careers in the telecommunications and technology industries through her knowledge and career experiences by mentoring, networking, and encouraging both personal and professional development.

Liz Spaulding is Vice President, Global Business Development at BritBox, where she oversees all distribution and commercial partnerships (including traditional, OTT & DTC) for BritBox worldwide. In her first year at BritBox, she negotiated three new distribution contracts and aided in the launch of five platforms in North America, resulting in an expanded footprint of over 70M households now able to subscribe and watch BritBox.
Prior to BritBox, Liz was Director of Distribution at STARZ (A Lionsgate Company) where she was responsible for multi-platform content distribution and strategic partnerships with distributors in the media and entertainment industry. Liz also served on the board of the Lionsgate Parents and Caregivers Together ERG (PaCT), providing feedback and leading initiatives within Lionsgate to achieve its DEI goals.
Prior to STARZ, Liz was the first ever New York Director for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, a non-profit that assists SAG-AFTRA members with career education, emergency assistance, and specialized training. There she managed a team producing over 500 seminars, panel discussions and educational courses annually. Liz also negotiated several cross-promotional and venue partnerships with key guild and arts organizations including 92nd Street Y, AMPAS, BAFTA, Backstage Magazine, NY Television Festival, the PGA, SVA Theatre and the WGA.
Prior to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, Liz served as Marketing & Communications associate for the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment under Commissioner Katherine Oliver and Mayor Bloomberg, where she managed the $4M+ annual incentive: The “Made in NY” Marketing credit, helping to entice productions to shoot 75% or more of their principal photography within the five boroughs.
Liz got her start in the entertainment industry as Marketing Coordinator for Tribeca Film, the distribution arm of the Tribeca Film Festival. She managed the marketing strategy and release windows for over 20 feature films per year, from acquisition, theatrical, day-and-date VOD to home video.
Liz currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for The WICT Network: New York chapter and is a member of New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT), Women in Film (WIF) and BAFTA. She is an alumnus of The WICT Network’s 2022 Rising Leaders Program and The WICT Network: New York’s 2019 Prime Access Program.

Crystal started as a Sales Assistant for the NBC broadcast station in Seattle and made the switch to Comcast after recognizing the growth opportunity in the cable industry. After a decade in media sales for various lines of business within Comcast Spotlight, Crystal was promoted to her current role as Sales Manager for Effectv Comcast Advertising (formerly Comcast Spotlight). She leads a diverse team of Account Executives who work with local businesses and marketing agencies to build data-driven, multiscreen video advertising campaigns. In addition to supporting her team to drive results, she volunteers for pilot programs to help improve internal systems while being an advocate for her teammates’ continued development.
Crystal originally joined the board for The WICT Network Pacific Northwest Chapter in 2018 as Secretary and moved to Vice President for 1 year prior to her current role as President. In 2021, Crystal contributed to the success of the Pacific Northwest Chapter resulting in three awards: Chapter of the Year, Most Improved, and Inspire & Others Will Follow. In 2022, she was part of the WICT Rising Leaders graduating class, originally nominated by Comcast to apply for this competitive training program.

She joined Cox Communications in 2008, with a focus on software development delivery.
A native of Virginia, Cindy is a graduate of Virginia Tech. Early in her career, she served as Development Director for the Appalachian Girl Scout Council in Johnson City, TN and Public Relations Director for King University in Bristol, VA.
Relocating to Atlanta in 1990, Cindy joined GE Computer Service as an administrative assistant, quickly moving to Technical Project Manager. Prior to joining Cox Communications, she also worked at Alltel/Fidelity Information Services as a Senior Technology Program Manager.
Cindy has 30+ years’ experience managing development, deployment, and operations for projects and applications designed to support frontline personnel in data gathering, problem identification, and restoration activities for network and customer premise equipment issues. In her current role, she is responsible for driving delivery of residential construction for Cox Communications’ nine East Region markets.
She takes pride in having a reputation as a leader who consistently delivers on commitments while building collaborative relationships across all boundary partners. Cindy has served as Treasurer and Senior Programming Director for The WICT Network Southeast and is passionate about mentoring others to support professional and personal development.

In 2025, Crystal started her current term as President. Within the WICT organization Crystal has often volunteered at events. Crystal joined the Southwest WICT Chapter Board in 2019 as a CO-Marketing/Communications chair and shortly after became the Marketing/Communications/Social-Media Director through 2022. For her 2023-2024 term Crystal held the VP role alongside immediate past President, Dawn Imbriale.
In addition to her involvement with The WICT Network, Crystal’s a member of Cox’s Women’s, Soul and Pride Employee Resource Groups. Crystal served on the Cox Communicators Toastmaster’s Chapter from Sept 2020-March 2023, and helped implement the club’s member mentoring program. Which not only consists of delegating development focused tasks centric to helping mentees progress in Pathway Courses but aids them in Toastmaster/leadership growth. Crystal also provided support to the AZ Toastmasters Division Area 3 in multiple roles.

She has been with the company for 14 years.
Jenn has served on The WICT Network: Virginia board since 2017 in several different capacities including Membership Co-Chair, Treasurer and now President. She also created and ran an informal women’s leadership group where women could come together and discuss relevant career issues and seek advise from others for several years.
Jenn holds two Bachelors of Science in Business Administration degrees with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. She is also a Six Sigma Green Belt. Jenn has a passion for health and wellness and in 2020 became a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and has been working with clients to meet their health and wellness goals.

In this role, Berrocal developed and implemented policy communications initiatives and brand campaigns to educate communities, including state and local policymakers, on CTIA’s work across the wireless and technology sector. Berrocal also served as Vice President of Public Policy and Legislative Affairs for Net Communications, where she managed legislative, business development, and communications strategies for corporate and industry trade association clients spanning the telecommunications, media and entertainment, and energy sectors. Berrocal has also worked with several national and international organizations providing public policy counsel in the areas of technology, energy, and health.
Berrocal holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from The George Washington University and a B.A. in Political Science and Professional Studies in Spanish from Temple University. She sits on the Board of Directors of the National Foundation for Women Legislators and The Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Network: Washington DC/Baltimore, where she currently serves as Board President. She is also an appointed member of the Women in Leadership Executive Program Advisory Council with The George Washington University School of Business.
