Gerrie Martinez has been a Major Account Manager at Cisco Systems for over 6 years supporting one of Cisco’s largest Global Service Providers. In her role at Cisco, Gerrie has succeeded in contributing towards an $80M sales quota and overachieving 5 out of 6 years. She also holds the responsibility of working with key decision makers both within her customer as well as within Cisco. Gerrie has over 16 years of experience in the IT industry working in both sales and engineering in everything from Data Center Technologies to Retail Strategy.
Prior to joining Cisco, Gerrie spent ten years working for Sun Microsystems as a Sales Engineer. She supported large data center environments for multiple Fortune 500 customers located around the nation.
While at Cisco, Gerrie has been a part of the Connected Women’s organization where she is the lead of the Jive community page for the Americas as well as been a part of WICT the last four years. She actively participates in support of Moffitt Cancer Center by fundraising for Swim Across America each year.
Gerrie earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. She graduated Cisco’s Aspiring Manager Program in 2016. Gerrie resides in Los Angeles, CA with her fiancé and can be found preparing for marathons in her spare time.
