Cheryl Jackson is the Director of Standards & Practices for Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media (AYAKM), a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia. In her role, she oversees the critical evaluation and analysis of all original program content, on-air promotion, live events, home video and merchandise for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. Partnering with show producers and network development executives, Jackson supports the integrity of creative content while ensuring compliance with S&P guidelines.
Since joining Turner Broadcasting in 2000, Jackson held positions in Network Operations and Programming for TNT Latin America before moving to Standards & Practices in 2003 supporting TBS, TNT and Turner South Original Productions. In 2007, she joined the AYAKM S&P team and was promoted to Director in 2012.
Jackson graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Arts and a minor in Film Studies. She resides in Marietta, Georgia with her husband and two children.
