As executive vice president and chief strategy officer, Sujata Gosalia sets the strategic vision and growth agenda for the largest private telecommunications provider in the United States. In her role, she is responsible for corporate strategy, business development, incubation of new ventures, and several of Cox’s growth businesses in the areas of Internet of Things (IoT), Edge Computing and Connected Health. Sujata also oversees Cox Media, the company’s advertising sales division that helps clients navigate the changing marketing landscape.
Sujata brings 20 years of experience in driving growth, innovation and value creation within media, technology, communications, and business services companies. Previously, she was a partner at the international consulting firm Oliver Wyman and managed the firm’s New York office. Sujata also served as senior vice president of marketing at Neustar, a cloud-based information and analytics company, where she was responsible for marketing and offer innovation across the company. Most recently, she was senior vice president of strategy for Sodexo, a B2B services company, where she drove a global transformation in the company’s corporate services segment.
Her contributions have earned her consistent recognition by CableFAX as one of the cable industry’s Most Influential Multi-Ethnic Executives and Most Powerful Women, and she was recently named one of the National Diversity Council’s Top 100 Women in Tech for 2021.
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Sujata graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with two bachelor’s degrees: one in economics from the Wharton School and another in international studies from the College of Arts and Sciences. She also holds a master’s degree in politics of the world economy from the London School of Economics. Gosalia, speaks Spanish, Gujarati and Hindi, is a dance and travel enthusiast, outdoor explorer and serves as a board member of Banner Health.
