Alicia Daugherty

Alicia Daugherty is Vice President of Project Management for Comcast’s Beltway Region. Her team is responsible for managing the launch of new products and services within the region, as well as driving cross-functional initiatives and business process improvement efforts.

 

A Comcaster since January 2008, Alicia served as the Technical Operations lead for the Maryland/Delaware/Richmond Region, leading key initiatives to drive standardization and process improvement across the region. In December 2008 she was named Vice President of Area Operations for Comcast’s Bay Shore Group with primary responsibility for Cable operations in the Maryland Eastern Shore and Delmarva Peninsula.

 

Before joining Comcast, Alicia spent more than twenty years in the electric utility industry, primarily with PECO Energy Company, the electric and gas utility serving Philadelphia and the five surrounding counties. Her roles included Director of Operations where she was responsible for the engineering, construction and maintenance of the high-voltage transmission and substation system; and Director of Project and Contractor Management, where she directed project management functions for all major construction, maintenance and business processes while managing a $90 million project portfolio and overseeing total contractor spend of over $150 million.

 

Alicia holds a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware. She is a 2010 graduate of the Comcast Executive Leadership Forum and in 2013 completed Leadership Philadelphia and the Comcast Women in Leadership Program at Wharton. Alicia is an active member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications and has served for several years as a mentor in the Philadelphia chapter’s Mentoring Partnership Program. Alicia and her husband Jim are award-winning homebrewers and reside in Chester County, Pennsylvania with their children, Jay and Leah.
