Anju Ahuja, a self-described “future optimist,” believes in the potential of emerging technology to empower end users and transform their everyday experiences. As Vice President of Product Strategy & Insights at CableLabs—innovation lab for the global communications service provider industry—she leads the team responsible for developing compelling, multibillion-dollar end-user offerings and new markets for mobile network operators and cable companies around the world. Her team also captures the voice of the customer and predicts the evolution of customer and network requirements through the integration of consumer insights and decision science. Anju serves on the board of the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing and the President’s Advisory Board of NorCal WICT.
Anju began her career at the Boston Consulting Group and then transitioned into private equity, where she focused on successful turnarounds of underperforming portfolio companies at Bank of America’s principal investing group. Staying true to her roots in strategy, she joined venture capital firm First Analysis, where she invested in a range of technology companies and worked closely with management teams on their product and growth strategies. Anju went on to co-found a technology venture capital fund and later, Psyche Manufactory, a boutique media tech advisory firm, where she worked closely with management teams and their funders on innovation, new product development and growth strategies across a range of media and technology verticals including games, immersive and interactive content, platforms and more.
Anju is passionate about closing social and economic divides. In addition to her corporate board experience, she serves on the External Advisory Board of the Center for Global Health and is an Emerita Director of a regional board of the US Fund for UNICEF. She received her BA with honors in economics at The University of Chicago and her MBA from Northwestern University.
