As vice president, legal and business affairs at Fuse/MSG Media, Elisabeth
Avnet Morse provides legal representation and business counsel for all aspects
of Fuse’s operations.
Morse works closely with the network’s general manager and senior executives,
advising on strategic planning and legal issues, in addition to drafting,
reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements for Fuse. She advises on
programming and production matters, acquisitions and licensing, talent and
employment agreements, marketing initiatives, digital rights matters, music
performance rights and syndication and licensing of Fuse’s original content.
Prior to Fuse, Elisabeth Morse served as senior counsel, business and legal
affairs at Oxygen Media, where she oversaw legal issues relating to the
network’s marketing and distribution of content and brand to traditional and
alternative media platforms. Morse has also held associate and senior counsel
positions at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and NBC Universal, and served as
deputy news editor at People Magazine and senior editor at Speak Magazine.
Ms. Morse has a Juris Doctorate from New York University and a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Stanford University.
