Jaclyn Cannon is the Director of Mobile Strategy for Cartoon Network. She is responsible for managing the global business and go-to-market strategy for the Cartoon Network mobile app portfolio. In 2011, Jaclyn was hired to start the mobile business for the network. Under her supervision, the portfolio has grown to over 30 apps available on three major mobile platforms.
Over the last four years, Jaclyn and team have published several #1 hits on the App Stores and have been recognized by their distribution partners among the Best Apps of the Year. The Cartoon Network mobile business created a new revenue stream for the network with triple digit growth year-over-year. The portfolio includes: the Emmy Nominated CN Go, CN Anything and numerous games from hit brands that air on their channel including: Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, Regular Show, Ben 10, Steven Universe, Power Puff Girls and Lego Mixels. In addition to Cartoon Network brands, her team has published Original IP titles to introduce new brands for kids from a digital first perspective.
Upon graduation from the University of Mississippi, Jaclyn began her career in Investment Banking. She focused on buy-side and sell-side M&A, Capital Raises and Restructuring Advisory Services for companies in the mobile and digital industry. After five years, she left Investment Banking to lead a small start-up in kids media. She spent the next five years growing and ultimately selling the business. The company produced educational mobile apps, online games and books for children age 6-12. As the President she was primarily responsible for business finance and strategy.
Jaclyn lives in Atlanta with her husband and their two small children. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing at the lake with family, dinner with friends, exercising with her husband, and entertaining guests in their home.
