If you’re a sports fan who uses social media, chances are you’ve interacted with posts produced by Kaitee Daley’s talented team of off-platform content specialists. Daley heads up ESPN’s social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter. An early believer in the power of social to drive consumption and audience connection, Daley was one of the first ESPN employees to push for a formalized social media strategy. She pioneered many of SportsCenter’s first on-air social integrations, led the first wave of athlete social takeovers, and was part of a small team that launched ESPN’s inaugural Snapchat Discover channel. Daley has long been passionate about ESPN expanding its reach to both casual and young sports fans. In 2014, she spearheaded the launch of a new, “offbeat” digital content vertical and led a reimagining of the SportsNation digital brand. More recently, Daley’s team has developed IGTV shows and launched an internal influencer program to work with ESPN’s forward-facing talent.
Daley graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Bowdoin College, where she lettered in basketball and softball and cohosted a sports debate show. When not scanning social feeds, Daley enjoys being outside with her husband Brett and their chocolate lab Moose.
