Katharine Reinert

Kitty  Reinert Is a Senior Engineer  for CCAD, a joint venture between Comcast and ARRIS in Horsham, PA, which develops conditional access products in support of the cable headend.  In this role she is responsible for translating customer feature requests and system descriptions into development requirements and system design. Working closely with product owners, developers, testers, and systems engineers across teams, she develops a thorough understanding of the features and functionality in order to contribute to a cohesive design plan and to ensure the quality of the systems under development through the creation and implementation of integration test plans.

 

Kitty came to CCAD in 2006 with over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with Bell Laboratories/Lucent Technologies, as a Human Factors Engineer and New Product Engineer. Kitty was responsible for productizing new data communications products, managing beta tests, serving as liaison between customers and the development organization for feature requests and support issues, and supporting customer’s engineering teams in understanding, planning, and deploying the products in their production environments.  Through her in-depth knowledge of the customer operations, Kitty was able to be extremely effective in contributing to improvements in the products and to the customer experience.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickenson University, New Jersey, graduating Suma Cum Laude.

 

Kitty lives in Newtown, PA and enjoys biking, running, and water sports.   She especially loves traveling with her children internationally and exploring our national parks. She has been a volunteer as a high school Youth Group Leader at her church and as a mentor of young inner city middle school girls, and currently volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
