Nan Moss is the VP of Program Strategy & Scheduling for Lifetime Movie Network (LMN) at A+E Networks. As a seasoned program strategist, Nan spent 16 years at Viacom where she organized the launch of multiple original series, live events and sports for MTV2, VH1 Classic and other network verticals. She was also an integral part of the brand’s off-network series acquisitions strategy and under her guidance, MTV2 delivered 3 years of year-over-year growth that pushed the vertical into the top10 cable networks among its key demographic. In her time at MTV, Nan worked on classic series such as True Life, Diary, Cribs, and the iconic MTV Video Music Awards.
Now as VP at A+E Networks, Nan is a key architect behind the development and performance of LMN’s thematic and binge-worthy scheduling tactics across all franchise movies and key properties. Additionally, she collaborates on both original and acquired programming from conception to on-air execution across all platforms. Despite having the smallest sub-base in its competitive landscape, LMN has been able to cut year-over-year losses in half while growing 2 spots in the ranker for its key demographic and consistently remains in the top 35 networks for W25-34.
A devotee of British period dramas, medical procedurals and, of course, Lifetime movies, Nan’s professional achievements are informed by her deep passion for television. She is a member of theTelevision Academy of Arts and Sciences and the legendary Paley Center.
Nan is a graduate of Marist College, she resides in Westchester County with her husband and their two children.
