Robyn Ulrich

Robyn Ulrich, senior vice president of marketing and public relations for DIY Network, oversees the network’s brand marketing and public relations efforts. In her role as senior vice president, Ulrich works directly with ad and affiliate sales marketing, online, programming, and research to communicate brand strategy. She also is responsible for the national public affairs partnership between DIY and Habitat for Humanity International, which won a CTAM (Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing) award for collaborative marketing. Ulrich started with Scripps Networks in 1994 as the new media director for the soon-to-premiere Home & Garden Television. In that role, she launched the network’s website, HGTV.com; Scripps’ viewer services department; HGTV Ideas magazine; and eventually, DIYnetwork.com. Over the years, Ulrich has served in various vice president positions, including a stint as vice president of marketing for Scripps Networks where she was responsible for the blending of all marketing groups across all the company’s cable networks. Prior to Scripps Networks, she worked for various other companies in both marketing and graphic design. She is a member of CTAM, Women in Cable and Telecommunications, and the National Association for Female Executives. When she’s not defining key messages for the network and spearheading its marketing projects, this soccer mom stays busy with her husband and two children.
