Ashley Moran

Ashley is currently a Creative Director of User Experience at Comcast. There she leads multi-disciplined teams focused on user experience strategy and delivery for a variety of Comcast’s online, mobile, and set top box video products. Her focus has been on customer journeys and experiences that span across multiple platforms, devices, and operating systems, with an end goal of not only addressing customer experience pain points, but also innovating in the product space.

 

Prior to Comcast, Ashley held the position of Lead User Experience Designer at Motorola Mobile Devices. While there, she led a team of visual and interaction designers who designed and developed cutting edge user interfaces for the international mobile device market using emerging technologies. She focused on developing design strategies for interfaces that blur the line between the digital and physical.

 

Ashley got her start as a business consultant with Arthur Andersen’s Experience Design group (which became KPMG Consulting, and later rebranded to BearingPoint). While there, she was involved in a wide range of consulting roles which addressed the critical user centered design and marketing issues for eBusiness environments through content strategy, user research, brand and identity assessment, information architecture, and interaction design.

 

Ashley earned her degree in graphic design from North Carolina State University. During her tenure there, she studied abroad at the Kunsthochschule in Berlin, Germany, where she focused on interaction design, and guest lectured on the relationship of software and hardware design at the National Taiwan University of Technology in Taipei, Taiwan.
