Betty Jo Roberts is Vice President, Consumer Product Marketing for Cox Communications.
In this role, she leads a team of product marketing strategists and product operations professionals. The mission of the Consumer Product Marketing team is to develop and implement consumer focused marketing strategies and programs to support the growth of Cox’s products.
Throughout her 20-year tenure with Cox, Betty Jo has held positions of increased scope and responsibility across both the residential and commercial business, starting as a marketing communications manager for Cox Business. Prior to her current role, she served as the Executive Director, Non-Customer Acquisition, Multicultural and Homelife Marketing Strategy and Vice President, Field Marketing for the Virginia region. She has led marketing strategy development and execution across customer acquisition and retention, product pricing and positioning and new product deployment at both the corporate and regional level.
Betty Jo is a 2011 graduate of Harvard University’s Cable Executive Management program, a member of the Southeast chapter of WICT, participant in Cox’s Women’s Employee Resource Group and has participated in many leadership development programs both with Cox and in the community. Betty Jo earned her BBA from the State University of West Georgia and an Executive MBA Certificate from Old Dominion University. In her spare time, she enjoys stand up paddle boarding, boating and exploring restaurants and shops in her hometown of Roswell, GA. She also has a passion for helping to end Alzheimer’s, supporting many fundraising programs.
