Brooke Zane has worked at Comcast for 6 years and currently serves as Vice President, Senior Deputy General Counsel and Deputy Compliance Officer for Comcast Cable. In this role, Brooke is responsible for helping to create a culture of integrity by implementing an effective program that ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. She developed and now leads a global complaint reporting and investigations function for Cable Compliance, managing and conducting internal investigations, providing counsel to investigators across the Cable footprint, and overseeing the company’s interactions with state and federal law enforcement agencies. Brooke routinely partners with key stakeholders across the Cable businesses and is a member of several cross-functional committees focusing on fraud, complaint reporting, crisis management and incident response, and sales excellence initiatives.
Prior to her work for Comcast Cable, Brooke was a member of Comcast Corporation’s compliance group where she focused on enterprise-wide compliance initiatives for Cable, NBCUniversal, and Spectacor. Before joining Comcast, Brooke was an attorney at Reed Smith LLP, where her practice involved all aspects of business and civil litigation, as well as government and internal investigations.
Brooke graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law. She is also a graduate of the 2017 Half the Sky Leadership Institute for women. Brooke lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, the beach, Philadelphia sports, and doing anything active, including yoga, hiking, biking, skiing, and tennis.
