As Cox Communication’s Vice President of Corporate Field Service, Catherine Mitchell is responsible for field service operations across the company’s systems. She and her team develop process standards, technology implementation plans and customer service strategies – all designed to sustain and strengthen Cox’s leading position in the realm of customer care. Mitchell joined Cox in 2000 as Vice President and General Manager of the Roanoke, Virginia system. Prior to joining Cox, Mitchell held positions at Scientific-Atlanta, Inc., Digital Equipment and IBM Corporation. Mitchell earned her master of business administration from Harvard Business School and her bachelor’s degree in economics from Tufts University. She has served as a board member of numerous non-profit organizations including the United Way of Roanoke Valley and the Art Museum of Roanoke and the Arts Council of Denver.
