Cher Anderson is a Talent Solutions Manager within Strategic HR Solutions at Cox Communications. In this role, she supports the Marketing & Sales organization with Talent & Succession Planning, Leadership & Organizational Development & ID&E Strategies. She partners with leaders at all levels as a coach and in organizational development activities to drive individual/team engagement and effectiveness. She is also honored to sit on the Omaha Cox Charities Council. She is passionate and energetic about positively inspiring others to activate their potential! She loves working with others on their development, helping coach them to build actions to reach their goals. Her passion is driven by what others learn and see within themselves and their teams.
Prior to joining Cox in 2009, Cher worked in Country Club management and transitioned into the Casino business in operations. While in the casino business her career evolved into learning & development in the HR space.
Cher has a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Oklahoma State University & holds the following certifications: Certified coach in Gallup CliftonStrengths and Birkman Behavioral Profiles, certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and a Certified Professional from Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP). She is currently enrolled into an International Coach Federation accredited program to complete her Executive Coaching Certification.
In her personal life, she & her husband, Todd, live in Omaha, NE, have 2 teenage daughters, Makenna & Brielee, and their small fur baby, Boomer. She is a Jazzercise instructor and has a personal consulting/coaching business. She enjoys reading, hanging out with family & friends, and going to the pool.
