As Director of IT Business Applications for Crown Media Family Networks – home of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries – Connie Couvertier is responsible for planning, managing and coordinating policies, standards, projects and activities related to the design, development, acquisition and implementation of business information systems, software and internal web-based applications and business continuity and compliance.
In this role, not only does she manage the daily operations of the business applications department, she also oversees software development for every department company wide – from financing to programming – and additionally manages the support of all internally created or supported application software, including: the development methodologies, technologies, development and testing hardware/software environments, and supervision of the development staff.
Since joining Crown Media in 2001, Connie has continuously strived to be the best she can be as she worked her way up the ranks, from her first position as the Executive Assistant to the COO, through to her current position as Director of IT Business Applications. She is an avid reader, with a curious nature and penchant for puzzle solving, and self-educated IT professional who maintains an expert level of proficiency on multiple office computer systems and business applications.
Prior to her tenure at Crown, Connie has held various positions including that of a Technical Support Specialist, Network Administrator, Project Manager, Office Manager and Corporate Event Planner.
