Darlene Cah

Darlene Cah is the Web Content Specialist in the Digital Marketing Department of INSP, an independent family entertainment network. Her responsibilities include creating concepts, researching and writing all copy that appears on the INSP website from tune-in banners, to movie and show landing pages for the current line up as well as new acquisitions, blog posts, quizzes, sweepstakes and more. In addition, she writes weekly promotional newsletters and email announcements, and writes the websites and related digital promotional materials for INSP films and original shows. In September 2016, she was given the INSP Employee of the Month Award.

 

Prior to her position at INSP, Darlene freelanced, remotely, as a copywriter for digital ad agencies in Los Angeles and San Diego, wrote articles, press releases and marketing materials for Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Western North Carolina, and held advertising and publishing staff copy positions in New York including Associate Creative Director at Grey Interactive, Senior Copywriter at J. Walter Thompson, Ogilvy & Mather, Doubleday Direct, among others.

 

Darlene holds a BFA in Media Communications/Advertising from The School of Visual Arts in New York and an MFA in Creative Writing/Fiction from Queens University of Charlotte. She is an active member of WICT Carolinas where she served as a mentor in 2016 and received a scholarship for the 2015 WICT Leadership Conference.

 

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Darlene now calls North Carolina home, and lives in a town where there are more cows than cars.
