Dawn Kemp is a skilled Account Executive with over 20+ years of broadcast advertising sales experience. She is a consistent overachiever with a successful track record of producing sales and exceeding budget goals.
Dawn started her advertising sales career as an Account Executive with WVAZ-FM (V103), a local radio station in Chicago that is now part of Clear Channel Communications. While there, she gained valuable sales and advertising experience in local radio. During her tenure at Black Entertainment Television, she furthered her broadcast knowledge via cable television where she became a proven leader at closing business.
In her current role, Dawn is responsible for providing client-focused marketing solutions including collaborations across digital and print to generate significant ad revenue. She has received awards for New Business, Best Cross-Scripps Collaboration, and Sales Person of the Year for Food Network as well as for Cooking Channel. Dawn takes special pride in building relationships both internally at Scripps as well as externally with her clients that include some of the largest consumer package goods companies in the U.S. like Kraft Heinz & General Mills in addition to retail giants, Walmart & Target, among many others.
Dawn is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Marketing. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jerome, and their 2 kids, Jett and Jax.
