Erica Henry

Erica Henry is the Associate Director for CNN’s Southeast Region based in the Atlanta bureau.  In this role, she works closely with senior management within CNN’s Domestic Newsgathering Operation in finding distinctive content from Virginia to Florida and states east of (and including) Texas.  The region also includes Puerto Rico.

Henry has been in this role since April of 2017.  Prior to this she was the Managing Editor for CNN’s Western Region.  She was based in CNN’s Los Angeles Bureau for six years.

Henry began her career in television as an NBC Page.  She worked at NBC for five years before making the jump to CNN.  Her first job at CNN was as a Segment Producer for the Moneyline News Hour with Lou Dobbs.

Henry was a co-chair for Turner Women, Los Angeles.  She also served on CNN’s Diversity Council.  She proudly served on the board for Junior Achievement of Southern California.

Henry is a graduate of Duke University.  She is active with the Duke Alumni community having served on the board for Duke in SoCal and as a co-chair for the Duke in Los Angeles Women’s Forum.

She currently lives in Atlanta with her three children.
