Georgelle Cole is currently the Manager of Program Integration for Scripps Networks Interactive home category brands HGTV, DIY Network, and Great American Country. She leads a team responsible for ideating, pitching, and executing integrations for many of the world’s largest brands into Scripps content. In this role, she has the unique opportunity to oversee both programming integration and short form integration, helping to drive revenue, sustain and grow existing client relationships, cultivate new business, and ensure a competitive edge for multimillion dollar accounts. Additionally, she manages all aspects of product integration into Scripps home category tentpole series that include Ellen’s Design Challenge and Brother vs. Brother.
After joining Scripps in 2004 as a Topical Producer, she held progressive roles in creative services. Most recently, she managed a team of producers as an Executive Producer for HGTV and DIY Network. Her responsibilities included on-air, online, experiential, radio, and social media executions for many of the networks’ top promotional priorities. Prior to that position, she served as team lead for HGTV’s Upfront presentation reels, earned a PromaxBDA Gold Award for the A Man Named Pearl on-air promo, and launched the hit HGTV series Property Brothers with a promo campaign.
Georgelle studied visual communications in London and earned a BA degree in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University. After graduation, she worked in digital and consumer marketing at TNT, TBS, and Cartoon Network before moving on to The Weather Channel’s creative services division. Her memberships include Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) and National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). A longtime volunteer for community development and education/literacy causes, she is a proud board member of Rebuilding Together Knoxville.
