Jacqueline Burgos

Jackie Burgos is a Director in Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Viacom where she supports the Global Entertainment Group channels, specifically Spike and Comedy Central.    Jackie is responsible for finding new revenue generating opportunities for the entertainment channels and supporting senior management with their strategic vision. 

 

Prior to Viacom she was WBTV’s management executive trainee, a two year program at Warner Bros., where she rotated across the television division of the studio working on special projects for the president.   She was instrumental in the WB’s launch of a digital studio that develops and produces content reflective of today’s multicultural audiences.  She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA cum laude from Pace University.  Prior to business school she worked at Univision in the Office of the CEO, exploring the company’s strategy for Latino millennials and at HBO where she worked as a New Media Financial analyst. 

 

Outside of work, Jackie sits on the board of NAF a national nonprofit that reaches 88K high school students across the country through career themed academies in partnership with education, business, and community leaders to ensure high school students are college, career, and future ready.  She also sits on the board of the Harvard Business School Latino Alumni Association (HBSLAA) and is very passionate about using the media to empower and uplift the Latino community.
