Janice Moore oversees all aspects of marketing for WE: WOMEN’S ENTERTAINMENT. This role includes the strategic direction for the WE brand and its ratings and awareness goals. Most recently Moore held the position of VP, Corporate Marketing for Independent Film Channel Companies, playing a key role in developing IFC by overseeing the creation of the “Dinner for Five” affiliate campaign as well as the launch of “IFC Uncensored.” She directed multifaceted sales campaigns, event marketing campaigns, corporate initiatives and sales support. From 1998 to 2002, Moore served as Vice President, Trade Marketing for Bravo Networks. She developed marketing campaigns for key sales priorities; oversaw all partnering between field sales executives; corporate marketing; and strategic development for Bravo’s award-winning public affairs initiative “Bravo On With the Show,” designed to bring theatre to children across the country. Prior to joining Bravo/IFC, Moore worked for the National Football League as Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing where she developed strategic alliances with major corporations to achieve marketing objectives and broadened all relationships toward fully integrated programs. In addition, she was a key contributor to the women’s initiative task force, designed to expand the female fan base. She also served as Regional Account Director at Lifetime Television where she achieved successful results in account development among multiple system and independent operators in addition to translating national marketing programs into successful regional promotions for the operators. Moore holds an MBA from Hofstra University and a BA from Adelphi University. She and her husband Robert Caputo live with their five children in Rockville Centre, NY.
