Jhernee Sawyer

Jhernee’ Sawyer is a Sr. HR Business Partner, supporting the People Solutions and Supply Chain organizations for Cox Communications Inc. Since joining Cox in 2004, Jhernee’ has excelled in various roles. With over 10 years of HR experience, she has held the position of HR Solutions Manager responsible for delivering organization design and compensation solutions for the Finance, Supply Chain and Product & Technology organizations. Prior to this role, she held the position of Talent Management Consultant, where she helped create and drive Cox’s enterprise talent, succession, and pipeline development strategies. Jhernee’ brings a unique background to the People Solutions organization having also spent time in the Finance & Accounting and Cox Media Inc. organizations within Cox Communications.

In her current role, Jhernee’ serves as the trusted business advisor to business leaders and other company stakeholders. She leads and facilitates the development and delivery of workplace strategies that impact culture and key capabilities for the organization. Jhernee’ also supports the design and execution of workplace initiatives to achieve business results and sustainable growth. In partnership with the various functional HR areas, Jhernee’ drives and deploys integrated talent management, employee development, compensation, performance management and workplace strategies.

Jhernee’ lives in the Metropolitan Atlanta area and when she isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, all things beauty, and spending time with her husband, Jason and two lovely daughters, Jemari and Jalia.
