Judy Train is Vice President, HR Shared Services for Cox Communications. In this role, she oversees the Employee Service Center, which fields employees’ questions about payroll, leave and benefits, and other common inquires. Judy and her team spent the past two years building the ESC, from organizational design to staffing and training. Since launch, the ESC has delivered consistently strong results on behalf of Cox employees. She also works with the IT organization to deliver key HR technologies, and she has responsibility for reporting and analytics for the HR organization. Previously, she led strategic initiatives for Cox, including several cross-functional initiatives to drive performance excellence in the organization. Judy joined Cox five years ago to lead the partnership between Verizon Wireless and Cox Communications.
Prior to her role at Cox, Judy spent 14 years at Sprint. Over her career there, she held a variety of roles including, but not limited to, leadership roles within National Channels, Human Resources and Sales Operations.
Judy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale and an MBA from Duke. A native of Georgia, she and her husband have three children. Judy is very involved in the Atlanta community, serving on the board of Atlanta Habitat and Kate’s Club. She helped launch CCI’s first women’s ERG group, and enjoys mentoring in individual and peer settings.
