Juli Vendzules serves as a project manager for Food.com at Scripps Networks Interactive. In this role, she works closely with the software development, editorial, search, advertising, user experience, and visual design teams to identify and implement website enhancements and mobile products that align with digital business strategies.
Since joining Scripps Networks in 2009, Vendzules has been central to creating and maintaining opportunities for a variety of user-generated content experiences across the Scripps brands, including FoodNetwork.com, CookingChannelTV.com, HGTV.com, DIYNetwork.com, HGTVRemodels.com, FrontDoor.com, TravelChannel.com, and GACTV.com. She led training efforts, provided technical writing, and was responsible for a variety of internal and external communications. Now, focusing her career on project management for Food.com allows her to support a passionate, diverse, and dedicated on-line audience while honing her leadership skills with a close-knit and energetic product team.
She has more than 10 years of experience with project management, editing, and corporate branding, both on the web and in print, including editorial credits on more than fifty titles for publishing partners such as Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Gymboree, and The Body Shop.
Vendzules earned her BA in English literature from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and studied abroad at Cambridge University. Having grown up in a military family, Vendzules counts herself lucky to have experienced many amazing destinations around the world. However, she is very happy to have settled in Washington, DC, with her husband and 2 cats.
