As Director, Events & Communications at AMC Networks Inc., Kelli Hill is responsible for the planning, organizing and execution of MSO, industry, brand and staff events including Sundance Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, SXSW and series launch events for AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel and WEtv. Additionally, she conceptualizes, produces and manages affiliate communications, trade ads and internal affiliate communications. Hill was named to this post in March 2011.
Previously Hill served as Manager, Events & Public Relations for Sundance Channel, where she acted as Sundance Channel’s Public Relations liaison for several media outlets and publications. She also managed social media outreach and planned, organized and executed all press, promotional and series launch events around Sundance Channel’s programming. Prior to joining AMC Networks, she produced the local broadcast of the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show at the radio station V108 in Las Vegas, NV.
Hill holds a B.S. from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).
