Kendel White serves as the public relations director for Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and FilmStruck. In this capacity, she manages publicity efforts for TCM and Filmstruck including creating and implementing strategic media relation campaigns for both brands. She is responsible for the day-to-day PR efforts for both brands, including implementing strategic publicity campaigns for programming initiatives, spearheading major events such as the TCM Classic Film Festival, and lifestyle brand extensions such as TCM Big Screen Classics, writing and developing press releases, media advisories, and overseeing publicity efforts for all network and brand talent. White is based in Atlanta and reports to Rachelle Savoia, vice president of communications for Turner.
White joined Turner in 2014 as a publicist with Turner Entertainment Networks where she worked on the strategic planning, development and implementation of publicity campaigns for a variety of scripted television series across TNT and TBS, such as Legends, Falling Skies, The Librarians and American Dad. Prior to joining Turner, White served as an account supervisor at Weber Shandwick/Fitzgerald+CO PR in Atlanta where she managed clients such as Coca-Cola Foodservice and On-Premise and Dow Building Solutions. White began her career at MSL Atlanta as an assistant account executive.
White is an active member in Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and the Junior League of Atlanta where she assists with the Journey to Literacy placement project. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.

FilmStruck is Turner’s first domestic direct-to-consumer offering launched in November 2016.
