Kim Powers

Kim Powers currently serves as Manager, Development and Original Programming, for Nickelodeon’s newest brand NickMom. At NickMom, she is responsible for overseeing a variety of development projects in both the long-and-shortform space from inception to launch.  She also serves as an Executive in Charge in Production on select NickMom Original Series. Prior to NickMom, Kim worked for the Nickelodeon Original TV Movie development team. Kim started her career at Imagine Television, where she worked on the Emmy Award-winning programs Arrested Development and 24.

Kim graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Television-Radio, concentrating in scriptwriting. At Ithaca, she was a recipient of the Senior Campus Life Award, awarded for excellence in leadership and service to the Ithaca College community. Kim has also served a variety of leadership roles in the non-profit organization Reading to Kids.

She currently resides in Brooklyn where she enjoys crafting, cooking, and playing the xylophone.
