Kimber Hanrahan is the Director of Training Delivery, West Market for the Talent Management and Development Team of Cox Communications; one of the largest broadband communications companies in the U. S., delivering video, voice and data services to residential and commercial customers.
Kimber’s career includes more than 20 years of customer service operations, call center management, talent development, and organizational analysis. Kimber has worked in a variety of industries starting with the family construction business and expanding her operations knowledge through her retail and corporate experiences. Kimber has worked in both small (50 employees) and large (Fortune 500) organizations. Her background includes the organizational analysis of various business channels and recommending process improvements across various industries. Her industry experience includes construction, retail, finance, travel and telecommunications. Kimber is responsible for sales and retention training for all internal and outsource residential call centers in eight states, and one International location, as well as retail centers and direct sales teams in 17 states and business to business sales training and strategy for new hires and incumbent for Cox Communications in the United States – more than 4000 employees Enterprise wide. She also leads the Delivery team of 50 employees located in the West Markets California, Arizona and Nevada. She facilitates a variety of learning solutions that positively impact both the organization and its employees. Kimber is considered a strategic thought leader and partner and has worked closely with senior leaders to align talent management initiatives with the business goals.
Kimber is a dynamic and engaging speaker and was recently honored by Walden University with the Best Consultancy of 2012. She often consults with FEMA Region VIII on various leadership solutions and coaches to best practices in employee development. She is the Past President of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Southwest Chapter, and their current Chapter Advisor. Kimber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and her MBA in Human Resources and Leadership from Walden University. When not traveling for business, Kimber spends her free time with her talented children- Shelby and Brady who are currently navigating college life, reading and travelling with her partner, Dean where they reside together in Arizona.
