Kristal Thompson has more than 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry and is a Senior Project Manager with Comcast’s Customer Experience Care Operations team. She is responsible for deploying essential products, services, tools, and processes necessary to achieve excellent customer experiences.
Since joining Comcast in 1997, she has been able to learn and experience various aspects of the organization. Some of her past initiatives and accomplishments include great strides in improving and enhancing the overall customer experience by refining and implementing new policies and procedures and self-service options for Xfinity Prepaid Internet and Internet Essentials services. Along with impactful programs, such as the Affordable Connectivity Program, which provides government assistance towards a customer’s internet or Xfinity Mobile service.
Before Kristal began her telecommunications career, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Morgan State University and is working towards a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity with a concentration in Policy and Management from the University of Maryland’s Global Campus.
Kristal was born and raised in Maryland, where she currently lives today, and is an active community youth volunteer with local programs in the Baltimore and Washington Metropolitan areas. She enjoys time with her friends, family, her dog, watching original series, and making jewelry in her spare time.
