Laura Watrous has 11 years of experience in the digital media space. She is currently a Sr. Director of Product Management at Viacom. Laura and her team are responsible for growing revenue and driving engagement across the Viacom portfolio of apps on Connected TV platforms. Her teams are responsible for full product development lifecycle from ideation, research and design to execution and iteration.
Prior to joining the global product group at Viacom, Laura worked across platforms at Nickelodeon. She led multiple teams and delivered products for the Nickelodeon brands (Nick and Nick Jr) on numerous platforms including desktop, iOS, Android, Apple TV, FireTV, and Roku. It was during this time that she realized her passion for organization, management, and leadership.
Laura strives to help her group reach company goals and KPIs by operating at various altitudes. Her expertise lies in improving process, increasing efficiency, and developing a cohesive direction while focusing on delivering high quality products that users enjoy. Her career objectives are to foster evolution, cultivate lasting partnerships and instill positive energy in all her work and interactions.
When Laura is not overseeing high-profile projects, you can find her volunteering with her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop, singing karaoke or spending time with her family and close friends.
