As the newly-hired Senior Vice President, Ad Sales Marketing and Operations at Ride TV, Lauren formulates and implements sales strategy, infrastructure and policy and oversees the creation of all sales presentations, materials and client solutions. Ride TV is a nationally-distributed network devoted to equestrian sports and lifestyle programming. Lauren brings 25+ years of national media sales and buying expertise to Ride TV. Her career spans both the buying and sales sides – her formative experiences at award-winning agencies BBDO and MediaVest plus her tenures at CBS, ABC and Discovery, Inc. make her uniquely suited to meeting advertisers’ needs and maximizing revenue for media organizations. In her most recent role at Discovery as Vice President of Client and Brand Partnerships, Lauren created marketing solutions for advertisers with branded content, co-marketing projects, branded licensing, product integrations and talent agreements. Her leadership was instrumental on some of the company’s highest-grossing projects, including Shark Week. She has a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals with a collaborative approach, strategic planning and persuasive team leadership, all while serving as a brand champion, mentor and sounding board for her many female colleagues.
Lauren is a Penn State graduate and avid Nittany Lion football fan. In her spare time, Lauren volunteers at Austin Pets Alive and serves on the Lake Travis High School Parent-Teacher Organization executive committee. She is not a native Texan, but she got to Texas as soon as she could! In 2017, Lauren and her family – husband David, sons (Michael, 17 and Sam, 15), along with their rescue dog and cats – moved from the New York City area to Austin, Texas.
