Lauren Stevenson is a Director of National Accounts in the Affiliate Sales group at Disney and ESPN Media Networks. She is responsible for managing and negotiating the distribution of over 30 television, VOD, and broadband products and services for the Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications accounts. Notably, Stevenson was a member of the team that negotiated the agreement between The Walt Disney Company and Time Warner Cable, which resulted in her company’s first online authentication agreement. Stevenson also works on the strategic development for emerging media platforms such as ESPN3.com and iTV.
Since joining Disney and ESPN in 2004, Stevenson has held positions within the National Advertising Sales, Digital Distribution, and Affiliate Field Sales teams. She began her career in media as a sales associate with book publisher, Penguin Group USA, in their Special Sales department.
Stevenson is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and attended New York University’s Publishing Institute. She is a member of the WICT New York chapter and resides in Manhattan.
