A compassionate and determined leader perpetually on a path to self-growth, Lauri Accardi is a woman who takes great pride in her personal and professional successes. As a Director of Program Management at Comcast, Lauri leads the Experience Design (XD) program for Connected Living. Her program supports three creative directors, 23 designers, and is geographically spread between Philadelphia, New York, Austin, and Silicon Valley. She balances needs across her program while also developing a staff of PMs, providing guidance and leadership, supporting autonomy and growth.
As a key strategic partner across XD and in collaboration with other groups, Lauri’s focus is on relationships and communication. On a day-to-day basis, she is detail-oriented, efficient, and drives deliverables. In addition, Lauri provides direction and thought leadership for high-level projects that span across multiple teams. For example, she supported Xfinity Home while also folding it into the convergence of many apps, which led to supporting the xFi app in its evolution to become the Xfinity app, and now the launch of an updated brand language and design system within Xfinity.
Her unique path to Program Management began with her love of the arts. She studied Photography, French, and Art History at New York University. Lauri was the first undergraduate to have three declared majors, graduating with honors in all three majors in four years. Her journey has included working for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Free People, Urban Outfitters, founding a CrossFit, Klip Collective, Digitas Health, and most recently Comcast for the past five years. While balancing work and life, she has achieved nine professional certifications, and is looking forward to returning to school this summer to start earning her MBA.
On a personal level, Lauri is a loving wife and mother to her three sons and daughter. She can often be found cheering on her children at a wide variety of sporting events, cooking delicious homecooked meals, or with her husband working out in their garage gym.
