Leigh Ann Dunleavy is Vice President, Digital Platforms in Universal Studios Home Entertainment at NBCUniversal. In this role, Leigh Ann is the business lead for transactional film and TV performance from hotel and MVPD platforms in the US and Canada.
Leigh Ann has over 25 years of experience in executive management, marketing, merchandising and product development. Much of her career has been focused on the transactional on demand space. Prior to coming to Universal, she held positions at Verizon with the responsibility of monetizing VOD and EST for Verizon FiOS and, most recently, for Redbox Instant by Verizon. As Head of Programming and Content Merchandising for the latter, she was able to expand her skills in the areas of content acquisition and deal negotiations. Working on a joint venture enabled her to work in an entrepreneurial climate with the support and resources of two major corporations.
The majority of Leigh Ann’s career was spent at Comcast in roles with responsibility ranging from general marketing to transactional on demand. She started in the Mid-Atlantic Division and then transitioned to a role at the corporate office to facilitate the company’s national video on demand launch. Her next opportunity came as Director of Marketing in Vero Beach, Florida, with Comcast’s acquisition of AT&T and then Adelphia. During her time in this role, one of her biggest accomplishments was executing an expedited subscriber recovery after two back-to-back direct hurricane hits in three weeks.
Leigh Ann has held board positions at organizations within the industry and the community, including CTAM, Humane Society, PTA, Boys and Girls Club, Band Boosters, United Way and local theatre organizations. She is currently the team manager for her sons’ JV hockey team, the West Ranch Wildcats. Leigh Ann currently resides in Santa Clarita, CA with her husband, Mike, and their two boys.
